iBankUP Check Writing Service - Terms and Conditions
1- By using the UPside Checking Service you agree to have your account debited by the amount provided on the website 24 hours before the check is issued and mailed to the payee.
2- A check will be written and issued by MetaBank on your behalf. Like a cashier’s check, it is not signed by you but by an authorized officer of Plastyc Inc.
3- Service Fees

(*): Please note that the decline fee only applies to checks requested for a later date with insufficient funds at the date of issuance. Checks ordered for following day issuance with instant balance check online are not subject to this fee.
4- You may issue each check for any amount between $5 and $800. For each UPside account, there is also a maximum amount of $800 of checks that can be issued per 24 hours and a limit of four checks during each calendar month.
5- If the check cannot be delivered to the address provided, the amount of the check exclusive of the issuance fee will be refunded to your card balance within 20 to 180 days after the check was returned back to the originating address.
6- Checks issued and sent on your behalf have a 180 day validity period. If a check you have requested that we issue on your behalf remains un-cashed by its designated recipient during the validity period, you may request a stop check by emailing us at cs@ibankup.com. If the recipient of the check attempts to cash the check after the end of the validity period we may assess a $25 penalty fee to stop the payment.
7- You agree and understand that we will be unable to credit an un-cashed check back to the balance of your card if you have cancelled your card account with us in the meantime. Before canceling your card account, please ensure that there is no “pending” check that may end up being un-cashed.
8- Please note that the UPside check writing service does not enable you to cash a check that you have received, it is only intended to write and issue a check on your behalf.
