General Questions:
What is the iBankUP service and the UPside prepaid card?
iBankUP is a money management service that comes with an UPside Visa Prepaid Card and an online virtual check book. You can receive funds through direct deposit or cash loads at more than 50,000 retailers nationwide. Because it's prepaid, your spending is limited to the amount of money received on the account. All purchases and payments that you make with your UPside card are decremented from your available balance in real time. And, unlike most other prepaid cards, you will earn reward points redeemable for cash back for all your online purchases made at leading US reatilers through our shopping mall.

Why would I sign up for iBankUP instead of a traditional checking account or credit card?
Unlike other banking products, iBankUP is a great real-time budgeting tool for your spending, as you can only spend the funds available on the prepaid card account - meaning that you will not go into debt like many do with credit cards or "overdraft protection" plans that most retail banks offer. And, with iBankUP, you do not pay for incoming loads, unlike with most retail banks. Anyone can register, even with poor or no credit. iBankUP is the most powerful and effective means to help you develop responsible spending behaviors, while still having the freedom to shop everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.

How am I able to transfer funds onto the prepaid card account?
UPside accountholders can provide their Direct Deposit Details to their employer, in order to receive their salary, or their friends and family who wish to load money. Loading cash is also available using Green Dot MoneyPaks sold at thousands of retailers nationwide. Some cardholders may also be able to load funds via a credit/debit card (funding card billing address must match UPside prepaid card account billing address). Click here for more information on how to load funds.
