The recipient prepaid cell phone can be yours or a third party's such as family and friends abroad. You can send prepaid cell phone refills to 24 countries:

You make a refill directly from the Cell Phone Refill window on your UPside online account at www.upsidecard.com. You will need the recipient's prepaid cell phone number, your cell phone number, and the amount you would like to send to the recipient (not more than your UPside card account balance).

The refill is does in real-time and should not take longer than a few seconds to appear on the recipient's prepaid phone.
How will the recipient know I've sent a refill?
