How can I receive funds to my UPside card account?

You can receive funds from your employer through free Direct Deposit or you can load cash by purchasing a Green Dot MoneyPak located at one of 50,000 retailers nationwide. Friends or family can also use your Direct Deposit information to load funds to your card account from their own bank account. You can also load funds directly from a credit/debit card load if you have one (funding card must match your UPside card billing address) after you have had your card activated for three or more months. Can I get a direct deposit number and routing number to give to an employer?

The cardholder is able to get Direct Deposit information by logging into his/her online card account and clicking on the "Information for my employer" link in the "Fund my Prepaid Card Account" box. The cardholder will need to print this information and give it to his/her employer. This information may also be used for other family members or friends that would like to load funds to the prepaid card account, perfect for birthdays and special occasions.

How long does it take until the funds appear on the balance provided by iBankUP?

Funds originating from a credit or debit card appear immediately upon loading. Loads from ACH/bank load can take up to 5 days. If the funding source does not have enough money, the load will be denied.

What do I do if I've loaded funds and they have not appeared on my balance yet?

If it has been over 5 business days for an ACH/DDA bank load to appear on your prepaid card account balance, please contact customer service at 866-845-6273.
